The Northern Lights Shine on Davicom in Canada’s Northwest Territories

Comlab Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for the supply of 30 Davicom DV-Mini Remote Monitoring and Control Systems.

The acquisition of such a large number of Davicom systems will allow the RCMP to monitor and control their extensive network of repeater sites in the Northwest Territories. These intelligent systems will ensure transmission sites are in continuous operation and will help reinforce public safety communications to citizens in remote communities in the NWT.

With this purchase, the RCMP joins among others: North Carolina Emergency Services, the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Environment Canada, OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting), the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) as one of Davicom's customers.

Davicom, a Division of Comlab Inc, develops intelligent remote monitoring and control systems that have been used by leading broadcasters and telecom operators around the world, for over 20 years.
